what we do

Network West supports and resources the houses and centres within the network.

We are an information intermediary between houses and their stakeholders.

We have a broad view that identifies common issues problems and trends within the region and works with the membership to solve these.

We strive to have local solutions in recognition of the immense skills and experience within the sector. We also build relationships with relevant and likeminded organisations and people.

We meet regularly with our corresponding networks from across Victoria and with the peak body for Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres (ANHLC) to share and compare practise, problems and solutions.

We work closely with our local governments to deliver great and tailored services to local communities.

We organise professional development and skills sharing to build and share capacity within the network. We promote the network and the sector to the wider world.
