In getting ready for the move to DHS its time to do an audit of your already strong relationships with the department.

Some neighbourhood houses have DHS funding or particpate in Neighbourhood Renewal projects etc and will already have some good contacts within our new department.

If this is so, your Networker wants to know about it. We understand that DHS opoerates much more regionally than DPCD and your Networker is working with the other neighbourhood House Networks in the (State government's) NorthWest region to ensure a smooth transition and maximise opportunities to showcase the great work Neighbourhood Houses are doing.

So if you can help by facilitating a meeting between your Networker and your DHS contact this will be a crucial step in building a productive and positive realtionship with our new funding body.
