In getting ready for the move to DHS its time to do an audit of your already strong relationships with the department.

Some neighbourhood houses have DHS funding or particpate in Neighbourhood Renewal projects etc and will already have some good contacts within our new department.

2011 sees the introduction of a new Equal Opportunity Act (2010) that shifts the ownus of equity to organisations and extends equal opportunity requirements to  volunteers as well as paid staff.
